April Caldwell has returned to the Baton Rouge area, and has joined our team at the CAC as our new forensic interviewer. She brings with her previous experience in both family advocacy and forensic interviewing from her work at the Polk County CAC. April received her B.A. in Psychology and her M.A. in Forensic Psychology. Her history of volunteer service includes numerous organizations, such as Best Buddies of LA and Habitat for Humanity. She has coached cheerleading and softball, taught high school, and served as a member of the City Council’s Youth Advisory Board in Huntsville, TX. She has experience working with individuals with disabilities and has been working with children for over ten years. She is very excited to be a part of the Baton Rouge CAC, and the CAC is fortunate to welcome her to our team.
