For Internet Safety Awareness month, the Baton Rouge Children’s Advocacy Center is offering Adult online classes on Internet Safety. Sessions will be hosted Live by an Education Specialist trained on Internet Safety, and will educate parents & caregivers on the following:
* How to recognize unsafe online situations children may face while using online gaming platforms, chat rooms, & social media;
* Signs of cyber bulling, sexting, online grooming, & human trafficking;
* Management of devices & internet use;
* Steps to follow if confronted with an unsafe online situation & how to report it.
The event will begin at 6 pm on Wednesday, June 24th.
