Join us from July 12th-14th for our Bayou and Sunshine Summer Camp. Our camp is open for children and teens ages 6-17 and is FREE!
This camp is offered to all genders, children and teens who are grieving the death of a loved one due to any reason, including homicide, suicide, overdose, accident, cancer, illness, suddenly, unexpectedly or natural causes. Trained mental health professionals from the CAC will be providing the services. Some of the activities will include educational information on grief, emotional support groups along with other fun and interactive traditional camp activities such as art, meditation, baking and yoga. Children and teens will learn essential coping skills and have the opportunity to meet other peers who have also undergone loss in an environment that is safe and welcoming.
Our camp will be held at our Annex building located at 646 East Blvd. Drop off time is at 8:30 AM and pick-up time is at 3:45pm. Spots are limited! Please RSVP to suzanna@20.65.216.137 by June 1st.
